Truck Enterprises recently relocated its full-service dealership in Hagerstown, Maryland, to a new state-of-the-art facility to better serve the area’s growing demand for Kenworth trucks and parts and service support.

“We have been in Hagerstown for 20 years and have cultivated a strong relationship with area customers,” said Jim Hartman, chief executive officer and dealer principal of Truck Enterprises. “We’ve seen the demand for our expertise in truck sales, parts and service grow exponentially. To meet the needs of our customers and the growing market, we needed to build this larger facility.”

Truck Enterprises Hagerstown, which received the Kenworth Parts and Service Dealer of the Year awards for both 2013 and 2014, is located less than one mile southeast of the former Truck Enterprises site on 8 acres near U.S. Interstate 81 and State Highway 11.

“Its proximity to those two major highways allow us to better serve all of the business needs of our customers,” Hartman added.

The 48,000-square-foot facility nearly doubles the amount of retail and service space available at its previous location. It increases the dealership’s service capabilities by offering customers 21 service bays, and driver amenities including showers, a laundry facility, driver workstations, and a driver’s lounge complete with Wi-Fi Internet access.

Truck Enterprises Hagerstown has an 8,000-square-foot parts warehouse and 3,500-square-foot parts retail space. The parts department features a large inventory and provides delivery throughout the area. The location’s 18,600-square-foot service shop includes an area dedicated to truck undecking and reconditioning.

“Our employees have worked hard to maintain a high level of service in all areas of our business. But we know we have to continue working hard to exceed our customers’ expectations,” Hartman said. “That’s why we’ve made sure our new Hagerstown location features easier access, more service bays and parts in stock, additional new and used truck inventory, expanded parking, and more room for truck drivers to maneuver when parking. We’re also mindful of our responsibility to the environment. That’s why our new location features specialized retaining ponds, native plant landscaping, LED lighting, passive heating, water recycling and environmentally conscious building materials.”
