Freightliner develops multimedia sales tool

Freightliner Trucks has introduced a new, proprietary dealer sales tool designed to enhance the overall customer truck purchasing experience.

Designed for the iPad, the Freightliner Sales Tool app provides dealers with easily accessible and interactive product information at the touch of their fingertips.   The new app serves as a virtual showroom for every model in the Freightliner Trucks product portfolio, providing dealers instant access – via their tablets – to in-depth product information and literature, calculators, and more. 

 The Freightliner Sales Tool app was initially launched to the Freightliner dealer network in early 2011. The completely redesigned app (v5.0) is the result of extensive user engagement and feedback that identified tools that best meet dealer and customer needs in the preliminary stages of the truck purchase and spec process.

 The Freightliner Sales Tool app is one of several apps that Freightliner Trucks has rolled out. The company recently updated its consumer app “Freightliner Hauler Challenge: Journey to Homestead” game, which has garnered more than 700,000 downloads.  All Freightliner Trucks apps include a dealer locator for identifying locations throughout the U.S. and Canada.
