The National Truck Equipment Association (NTEA) will offer an economic update March 5, 2002, from 9 am to noon before its 38th annual convention March 6-8 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando FL. This half-day conference was scheduled since the NTEA's Sept 17, 2001, Economic Outlook Conference (EOC) was canceled.
The March 5 update offers insight on the economic outlook for the work truck industry from the supply side and user side. Three speakers from the original EOC program are scheduled:
-
Eli Lustgarten, managing director for H C Wainwright and Co Inc, presents his end-use market review.
-
Martin Labbe, president and chief executive officer of Martin Labbe Associates, provides a truck market industry forecast.
-
Stephen Latin-Kasper, NTEA market data and research director, supplies his truck equipment market outlook: domestic and international.
The fee to attend the economic update is $75 members; $125 nonmembers. Anyone registered for the canceled EOC may apply their current credit to attend the economic update; the NTEA will refund the difference. To register for the economic update or if you have any questions, phone 800-441-NTEA, e-mail [email protected], or access www.NTEA.com.
