The Triangle Group is taking applications for enrollment in its 2002 Brake and Suspension School. The curriculum is designed for both novice and experienced counter, sales, and shop personnel using lectures, videos, and hands-on instruction.
Topics to be covered include brake system design of air and hydraulic systems, air brake balance, hydraulic system failure analysis, overview of antilock braking systems, and brake maintenance practices. Suspension sessions address constant and progressive (vari-rate) spring design and failure analysis, full tapered spring design and failure analysis, tractor and trailer suspension types, air suspension and air spring identification, steering axle maintenance, and suspension maintenance practices.
With two sessions in the spring and another two in the fall, the three-day courses will be held at the Triangle Training Center in Brentwood TN.
