FORCE America acquires Mobile Equipment Systems

June 19, 2019
FORCE America, a fluid power manufacturer and distributor, recently acquired Mobile Equipment Systems.

FORCE America, a fluid power manufacturer and distributor, recently acquired Mobile Equipment Systems.

Based in Tukwila WA, Mobile Equipment is a supplier of power-takeoffs, pumps and mobile hydraulic components to the northwestern United States. The acquisition extends FORCE America’s reach into the Pacific Northwest and provides local support for the company’s customers in the region, the company said.

Financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

“Mobile Equipment Systems is an excellent strategic and cultural fit for our company,” said John Stenz, chairman and CEO of FORCE America. “Their knowledgeable team, key customer relationships and long-standing market presence provide a strong platform for long-term growth. Having this location also helps us better support several of our strategic customers based in the Pacific Northwest.”

Mobile Equipment has served customers in the Pacific Northwest since 1993. The company specializes in Parker Chelsea and Parker Hydraulic Pump products, along with several other key mobile hydraulic suppliers.

Following the acquisition, Mobile Equipment Systems will continue to operate at its current location in Tukwila. FORCE will expand the product offering and local support for the company’s entire line, including products designed and manufactured by FORCE America’s valve and electrical divisions, along with VariTech Industries and PreCise MRM.

“Mobile Equipment Systems has a tenacious focus on putting the customer first,” Stenz said. “This aligns perfectly with the key values of the employee owners at FORCE America.”
