Alum-Line Celebrates 10,000th Truck Body

Alum-Line, Inc. of Cresco, Iowa recently produced its 10,000th truck body—purchased by Wholesale Haulers of Texas as their second Alum-Line body.

Alum-Line, Inc. of Cresco, Iowa recently produced its 10,000th truck body—purchased by Wholesale Haulers of Texas as their second Alum-Line body.

Alum-Line was established in 1986 with just two employees.

Founder and President Gary D. Gooder said, “2016 will be our 30th anniversary. We have many accomplishments, and are proud to be the innovator in our market. We are the first to manufacture many products in aluminum that are now becoming the standard in our industry.

“Customers for Alum-Line have included: John Deere, Caterpillar, Ford Motor Company, Budweiser, and Microsoft. We have produced bodies for Homeland Security, the United States Corp of Engineers, U.S. Fish and Wildlife, and for the U.S. Military. Other customers include all types of contractors, farmers, ranchers, municipalities, and recreational enthusiasts. We have over 100 dealers nationwide and have shipped products to 12 different countries.”

Alum-Line employs 80 people and produces approximately 500 truck bodies, 500 trailers, 1,500 tool boxes and hundreds of specialty products for customers each year.
