TTMA announces convention changes

The Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association has added another professional speaker to the program of its 67th annual convention. Retired Admiral Ray Smith will speak on how the Navy SEALs lead and build effective teams in a high-stress environment.

The Truck Trailer Manufacturers Association has added another professional speaker to the program of its 67th annual convention.
Retired Admiral Ray Smith will speak on how the Navy SEALs lead and build effective teams in a high-stress environment. Smith will draw from his 31-year career. He joined the Navy as a junior officer and retired after serving as the head of the SEALs.
Joining Smith on the program will be:
• Don Reynolds, president of 21st Century Forecasting. Reynolds’ previous TTMA appearances have drawn high ratings. He will update the global forecast he presented at the 2008 convention.
• Jerry Moyes, Swift Transportation. Moyes will give his perspective on issues affecting motor carriers.
• Eric Starks, FTR Associates. Starks will deliver his forecast for the trailer manufacturing industry.
The convention will be held April 29-May 3 at the J.W. Marriott Starr Pass Resort in Tucson, Arizona. Registrants will include top executives and spouses of international manufacturers of truck trailers, tank trailers, truck tanks, cargo containers and material, component and services supplier companies. Attendance at the convention is limited to TTMA members, their spouses and specially invited guests.
