Randon’s EBITDA Up 23% This Year

Randon S.A-Implementos e Participacoes, the controlling holding of nine companies operating within the segments of vehicles and trailers/semi-trailers, auto parts and financial services, reported that EBITDA was $198.5 million for the first half of 2011, up 23.2% over a year ago.

Randon S.A-Implementos e Participacoes, the controlling holding of nine companies operating within the segments of vehicles and trailers/semi-trailers, auto parts and financial services, reported that EBITDA was $198.5 million for the first half of 2011, up 23.2% over a year ago.

Other results for the first two quarters:
-- Total gross revenue, before consolidation, is $1.95 billion, an
increase of 20.9%.
-- Consolidated net revenue reached $1.32 billion, a rise of 20.6%.
-- $98 million of consolidated net profit, with a net margin
of 7.6%.

The main highlights of the second quarter:
-- EBITDA grew 21.0%, reaching $106.8 million.
-- Consolidated sales to foreign market reached $71.2 million, an increase of 11.3%.
-- Consolidated net income was $56.1 million, up 41.2%.
