Knapen Trailers celebrated its 30th anniversary with the Innovation Event, Open Day and Drink for Drivers.
Innovation Street provided a glimpse into the future of moving-floor technology. As of today the PowerSheet, the standard K200 light trailer, the light K502 side-door trailer, the unique Knapen remote control and all the other options are immediately available.
In 1984, Piet Knapen took over the company Knapen's Wagenbouw from his father, and Knapen Trailers was born. At that time there were no aluminum structures. The first moving-floor trailers weighed as much as 14 tonnes.
In the early years, Knapen Trailers manufactured not just moving-floor trailers but also tippers. In 1985, Knapen Trailers developed Europe’s first aluminum moving-floor trailer.
