Great Dane Trailers announced that David Gilliland has been promoted to the position of Vice President of Branch Sales and Operations. Gilliland replaces Tracey Maynor, who voluntarily resigned his position at Great Dane.
"Dave has outstanding sales experience, a strong knowledge of the truck trailer industry, great interpersonal and communication skills, and insightful management and team building abilities," said Phill Pines, Great Dane's chief operating officer.
Gilliland has a degree in Business Administration from Western Michigan University and has been with Great Dane for the past 18 years, most recently as the Director of Sales and Administration. His multi-faceted career includes experience in parts, service, sales, national accounts and manufacturing. Prior to joining Great Dane, he was at Fruehauf for 8 years in a variety of sales and management positions.
