BWS unveils its first Live Bottom Trailer

March 27, 2018
BWS is excited to unveil its first Live Bottom Trailer, featuring a reversible high-speed conveyor belt, at this year’s Truck World Show in Toronto.

BWS Manufacturing, based in Centreville, New Brunswick, is set to unveil its first live-bottom trailer, featuring a uniquely reversible high-speed conveyor belt, at this year’s Truck World Show in Toronto, Ontario.

Many months of planning, engineering and manufacturing went into the creation of the first BWS Live Bottom Trailer, an aggregate-transporting product designed to address the needs of BWS customers, according to the company. The 48-foot Live Bottom comes packed with features intended to increase productivity with every load, making it a valuable tool for businesses looking to save time and money.

The model’s high-speed conveyor belt utilizes a 4-inch roller chain to provide optimum operation life and minimize maintenance costs, and unlike the pintle-chain versions used by most competitors in today’s market, this chain is reversible.

The BWS Live Bottom, featuring standard red or black paint with light-weight aluminum sheet siding, is crafted in the company’s New Brunswick factory. Each Live Bottom includes standard front mounts for an optional tarp and a modular vapor proof Grote ultra-blue electrical system. This model also offers a variety of options and features for personalized application.

In addition, BWS offers one of the most competitive warranties of any North American trailer manufacturer, with this model including a three-year structural warranty, three-year PPG paint warranty, seven-year Grote light system warranty (including the lens) and six-year Haldex Platinum brake system warranty (including valves, brake chambers and slack adjusters).

BWS Live Bottoms boast the highest state and federal axle spacing available and are S.P.I.F. compliant, where appropriate.
