In observation of Trailer Safety Week, BWise Manufacturing is hosting an onsite educational event focusing on safe trailer towing June 8 in Chambersburg PA.
“(BWise) is proud to join the effort to improve the safety of America’s roads and highways through education and awareness,” the company said.
The Mission of Trailer Safety Week is “to improve the safety of the nation’s roadways by raising trailer safety awareness through education of end-users, dealers and manufacturers on safe trailering practices.” Although trailer safety is important to focus on 365 days a year, Trailer Safety Week is June 3-9. The event is for anyone interested in learning about the importance of trailer safety and best practices.
Trailer Safety Week features onsite events hosted at trailer manufacturing facilities, and national marketing and distribution of printed and online resources to trailer dealers across the nation. For onsite events, trailer dealers are invited to attend, tour the facility and learn about educational resources for customers.
The agenda for the onsite event includes an introduction to BWise Manufacturing, the purpose of Trailer Safety Week, resources available to end-users and the background of the National Association of Trailer Manufacturers. Attendees will be able to tour the BWise Manufacturing facility and watch NATM’s new video featuring the Compliance Verification Program.
