Strick Trailers recently awarded Capitol City Trailers (CCT) its 2018 Dealer of the Year award for achieving an outstanding level of sales.

This marks the third year Strick recognized CCT, based in Obetz OH, as its top dealer.

“Our top dealers continually demonstrate that they share our values of quality and innovation in serving our mutual customers,” said Charlie Willmott, chief sales officer for The Strick Group. “Our dealers are some of Strick’s most valuable assets and an integral part of the company’s success. It’s a privilege to work with them to keep America moving.”

Many of 30-plus dealers in Strick’s network were in contention for the top performer spot, the company said, but its Dealer of the Year must boast a high level of performance to keep pace with its standards, customer expectations and industry demands.

Buck Stewart started Capitol City in April 1994 with two other employees. His brother, Tim, heads new and used trailer sales, and his daughter, Cassie, leads truck body sales. Team leadership also includes Scott Brown, CFO, and Matt Hackney, sales.

CCT boasts 50 employees and operates in a 30,000-square-foot facility with a 10-bay shop.

In addition to the 2018 Dealer of the Year award, Strick also recognized Boston Trailer with the 2018 Best Dealer Sales Growth award for a 120% increase in sales growth over 2017.
