Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America Inc (MFTA) announced that Sean Phillips has joined the company as a product support manager. He joins Mike Sands, who was recently reassigned from his position as a district sales manager to product support manager in the metro New York and northern New Jersey areas. Phillips previously spent nearly 23 years with Caterpillar and International dealerships in various roles. Sands, who has worked for MFTA since January 2009, served more than 20 years in sales and service of other medium-duty and Class 8 truck brands.

Rick Bodnar is the new regional sales manager in the South Central region for XL Specialized Trailers, and he will serve customers in Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Arkansas, and Louisiana. Rodney Crim, who has transitioned to vice-president of sales for XL, previously covered this territory. Bodnar comes to XL with more than 20 years of experience in heavy haul trailer sales. He most recently served as the national sales manager for Load King.

Universal Trailer Corporation (UTC) has announced the appointment of Jeff Howes to the position of vice-president of marketing. With more than 20 years of experience in product, brand, and channel marketing, he most recently served as vice-president/general manager for the Water Initiative and spent 10 years at Newell Rubbermaid as director of marketing for its tools business segment.

Iowa Mold Tooling Co Inc (IMT), an Oshkosh Corporation company, has promoted Tom Wallace to sales manager. He joined IMT as a regional sales manager in 2008 after spending eight years working in the sales department, and then as service manager for Kleine Equipment Services, a John Deere dealership based in Galesburg IL.

​Meritor Inc and WABCO, parent companies of the 50-50 joint venture Meritor WABCO, announced the appointment of Matthew Stevenson to president and general manager of Meritor WABCO, effective immediately. With nearly 20 years of sales, marketing, product strategy, and business development experience in the commercial vehicle and automotive industries, Stevenson most recently served in an executive role with Bridgestone Americas Inc in its Consumer Original Equipment business.

Chuck Hallquist

announces the appointment of Chuck Hallquist as regional sales manager responsible for sales in the western United States, Canada, and select international regions for both its industrial and point of purchase markets.

Pressure Systems International (PSI) has named James Sharkey as senior director, global sales and marketing. He joined PSI in 2013 as director of strategic initiatives.

VMAC has added Gordon Duval to its senior management team in the role of vice-president–marketing and sales. With more than 25 years of progressive management experience in marketing and sales, he comes to VMAC most recently from the heavy equipment industry.

American Trailer and Storage (AT&S) welcomes Tim Kelley to the role of chief financial officer. He has been working with AT&S since late 2014 and has experience with leading middle-market growth-focused companies. Most recently he owned a consulting practice providing executive leadership and acquisitions as well as process and technology adoption.

FleetPride has named Allan R Dragone Jr, formerly Unisource chief executive officer, as its new president and CEO, effective immediately. He succeeds Donald W Sturdivant. With 35 years of experience in the distribution and retail industry, Dragone is also the former chief operating officer of GCA Services.

Duane Miller, manager, engineering services and welding design consultant with Lincoln Electric, has been announced as the recipient of the Robert P Stupp Award for Leadership Excellence by the American Institute of Steel Construction (AISC). This award gives special recognition to individuals who have provided “unparalleled leadership in the steel construction industry.” ♦
