FORCE America Inc. will break ground on its new, state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Alexandria, Minnesota, on Wednesday.

The new 64,000-square-foot facility will be built to manufacture integrated hydraulic circuits and custom manifolds designed for the on- and off-highway mobile markets. This investment will nearly triple the current manufacturing space located on the property adjacent to the new facility. Anticipating future expansion needs, the new plant has been designed to be expandable to 104,000 square feet.

As an employee-owned company, FORCE America has continually grown its presence by maintaining an intense focus on providing complete motion and control systems to original equipment manufacturers and public works organizations. The new facility adds enormous capacity while also providing opportunities to dramatically improve efficiencies in the production of hydraulic components.

“Building this new plant opens a new chapter for our employee owners,” said Steve Loeffler, CEO of FORCE America. “It will allow us to manufacture better products made in the USA and will bring new jobs to the community.”

FORCE America’s Valve Manufacturing Division will occupy the new facility while the company’s VariTech Industries division will continue to occupy the current manufacturing space.
