Available on the Sabre DX in 200-, 360-, 450-, or 600-amp configurations, the m3 system combines multiple plasma cutting and marking features in a single system, producing precision cutting and marking on materials up to 1.5“ thick, and sever capabilities on materials up to 6“ thick. The m3 system features an advanced gas control system, fully automated by ESAB's Vision CNC. The operator simply selects the material type and thickness, and the Vision CNC automatically selects and mixes the optimal start, cut, and shield gas combination.
The Sabre DX can be equipped with up to two plasma systems. It can also carry up to six oxy-fuel torch stations, marking tools, drills, routers, or laser pointers.
Precision cutting and accuracy are ensured by the use of a three-axis precision gantry with rack-and-pinion drives; a precision linear way y-axis guiding system; welded main beam fabrication; digital AC drives; and AC brushless motors. The low-profile gantry features all-steel construction with machined mating surfaces for stiffness and accuracy; dual side drives; and precision heavy-duty gearboxes for smooth motion and long life. The machine reaches speeds up to 1,400 ipm (35,560 mm/min). The Sabre DX is available with machine sizes from 6- to 15' widths, and working lengths up to 100'.
