Aurora Parts, Pluss Corp team up to streamline purchasing

Aurora Parts and Accessories, and Pluss Corporation recently released of a suite of new products intended to streamline purchasing activity on the MyAuroraPlus and PartsXpressNET platforms.

The new time-saving technology enables users to automate purchasing, send electronic purchase orders and delivery confirmations, retrieve current FleetPerform pricing directly from the PTM Vision point of sale system, access Aurora’s Graphical Bill of Materials (GBOM) application from PTM Vision, apply parts directly to work orders, and check for Aurora parts availability in real time.

“We have been testing the integration between PTM Vision and MyAuroraPlus,” said Bill Totty, vice president of parts and service of Trailer Sales & Service, Inc. “The first integration has saved us about 30 man hours.

“With the newer integrations, we expect to double these savings, allowing us to become more productive and better serve our customers.”

Designed to ease the complexity of the parts purchasing process, the new product suite will help to ensure simplicity of parts acquisitions and accuracy of pricing for a more efficient workflow. For companies with multiple concurrent customer service needs and tight repair schedules, this automated process significantly cuts down on time spent searching for and ordering necessary parts.

The new product line is the result of a growing partnership which combines Aurora Parts and Accessories’ premier transportation products with Pluss Corporation’s industry-leading inventory management technology. This union of quality parts and advanced technology allows an unprecedented flow of product catalog information and parts search capability for the user, ensuring that customer service and ordering can be achieved more efficiently than ever before.
