MHC Kenworth–Kansas City received Kenworth’s 2014 PACCAR Engine Dealer of the Year award for the third time in four years.

“More than 50 percent of the engines specified in Kenworth Class 8 trucks sold by MHC Kenworth–Kansas City in 2014 were PACCAR MX-13 engines. That’s a tremendous accomplishment,” said Tim Murphy, CEO of MHC Kenworth, which operates 60 Kenworth dealerships in 13 states. “This award was earned by our expert sales personnel that help customers choose the right engine for their application, our trained PACCAR MX engine service technicians that provide rapid turnaround for engine service and repair, and the dedication of all our parts and service staff to provide customers with Whatever It Takes support.”

The award also recognizes MHC Kenworth–Kansas City for offering 7-day, 24-hour service hours and a well-stocked inventory of PACCAR MX-13 engine parts.

“MHC Kenworth–Kansas City is the Kenworth dealer network leader in making the PACCAR MX-13 the engine of choice for many of our customers,” said Preston Feight, Kenworth general manager and PACCAR vice president. “Tens of thousands of PACCAR MX-13 equipped Kenworth trucks now travel the roads and highways of North America due to the engine’s low cost of operation, excellent fuel efficiency, high reliability and durability, lightweight design, and quiet operation.”

Available for Kenworth Class 8 models, the PACCAR MX-13 engine has ratings up to 500-hp and 1,850 lb-ft of torque to meet customer power requirements for hauling applications that range from lightweight to more than 100,000 pounds. The PACCAR MX-13 engine is produced at the state-of-the-art PACCAR Engine assembly plant in Columbus, Miss. More information on PACCAR engines is available at www.paccarengines.com.
