Allison partners with Geotab to offer connected capabilities

Web-based telematics provider adding transmission diagnostic codes to enhance fleet management experience

Allison Transmission is collaborating with telematics provider Geotab to deliver fleets transmission health information, including prognostics for monitoring operating parameters, oil and filter life, and diagnostics.

The partnership is the first step on a journey to provide fleets with actionable information to support their fourth- and fifth-generation Allison transmissions, the company said.
