    Webb Wheel Products Inc recently purchased automated robotic loaded CNC production equipment to facilitate manufacture of its Platinum Hubs, part of its expanding Platinum Series of wheel end products. The Platinum Hub is an aluminum hub introduced earlier in 2001. The TN trailer version of Webb's aluminum hub is 17 pounds lighter than a comparable ductile iron hub and other aluminum hubs, says Webb.
