Wabash secures three-year purchase agreement with Prime Inc.

Wabash National Corporation announced confirmation of a three-year purchase agreement for 3,000 refrigerated vans with Prime, Inc., the largest refrigerated carrier in North America.

Per the agreement, which includes an option to expand the total number of units to 5,000 over the next six years, Prime, Inc. will purchase Wabash National's ArcticLite trailers. Trailer production is expected to begin in September of 2005.

"We conducted a thorough assessment of leading refrigerated trailer models to identify the best solution for our operation," said Robert Low, founder and CEO of Prime, Inc. "After much due diligence, we found that Wabash National possesses exceptional refrigerated trailer design and technology. Testing proved that the thermal efficiency of the Wabash National trailer allows Prime to support our customers with the best equipment available."

"We are pleased with the opportunity to partner with the nation's largest refrigerated carrier, Prime Inc.," said Bill Greubel, Wabash National President and Chief Executive Officer. "This is a powerful testament to the quality and performance of Wabash National's refrigerated van line."
