Wabash National appoints new senior vice president

Wabash National Corp announced the appointment of Bruce Ewald to Senior Vice President/Sales and Marketing.

Ewald joined Wabash National in March 2005 as Vice President and General Manager of Wabash National Trailer Centers, the company's network of retail sales locations. In his new role, Ewald will initially be tasked with the creation of a lean sales organization that is focused on continual share growth, improved margins and overall process efficiencies.

"In an effort to improve the overall effectiveness of our sales groups, we are consolidating factory-direct and retail sales operations into one function," said Bill Greubel, Wabash National President and Chief Executive Officer. "With Bruce's leadership and extensive industry experience, this group will greatly enhance our ability to focus on customer growth and satisfaction."

Brent Larson, formerly Wabash National's Senior Vice President of Sales, will assume the role of Senior Vice President/Special Projects and Key Accounts.

Ewald has nearly 25 years experience in the transportation industry with a diverse background in the automotive, heavy truck, aftermarket parts distribution, and service markets. For the past 14 years, Ewald has served in a number of executive-level positions of increasing responsibility with PACCAR, Inc. including, National Sales Manager - PACCAR Parts Division; Director - Fleet Sales, Peterbilt Motors; Midwest Region Manager, Peterbilt Motors; General Sales Manager - North America, Peterbilt Motors; and most recently as Assistant General Manager - Sales and Marketing, Peterbilt Motors.
