Truck Enterprises Inc. has expanded its dealership operations in Virginia by adding two full-service, state-of-the-art facilities to further enhance customer support.

As members of Kenworth’s dealer network of nearly 300 locations in the U.S. and Canada, Truck Enterprises’ new Chesapeake and Lynchburg locations offer a wide selection of affordable Kenworth T300 medium duty, workhorse T800, aerodynamic and fuel-efficient T2000, and traditional long hood W900 trucks.

“Our new facilities not only appeal to customers, but also help attract and retain the area’s best-trained, most highly-qualified employees,” said Brett Hartman, general manager of Truck Enterprises Chesapeake. “Truck Enterprises also has invested heavily in the most up-to-date equipment, tooling and technology available in our industry. The combination of the industry’s best employees and latest technology helps us to support customers at the highest level possible and increase their time and miles on the road.”

That kind of customer support, combined with Kenworth’s quality products, contributed to Kenworth’s reception of five 2005 J.D. Power and Associates awards for “Highest in Customer Satisfaction for Over the Road Segment and Pickup and Delivery Segment Class 8 Trucks, Heavy Duty Dealer Service and also Conventional Medium Duty Truck Segment and Medium Duty Dealer Service.”

Truck Enterprises Chesapeake especially focuses on providing trucks for dump and beverage applications. The dealership is located at 1031 Cavalier Boulevard near Exit 297 of U.S. Interstate 64 in the Cavalier Industrial Park. The new, 46,000 square-foot facility offers a full-service financial services department, 21 service bays, and dedicated space for Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube Service. Operating hours are 7:30 a.m. to midnight Monday through Friday and 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturdays. The phone number is (757) 485-4960.

Truck Enterprises Lynchburg, which is in Virginia’s rural south-central region, serves the thriving logging and lumber industries as well as other vocational industries. “Our presence in Lynchburg makes us more accessible, and most importantly, enables us to see customers more frequently,” said Gary Gray, general manager of Truck Enterprises Lynchburg.

The dealership is located in a 35,000 square-foot facility near the Route 29/U.S. Interstate 460 by-pass at 5605 Pleasant Valley Road in Lynchburg. It has a computer-controlled alignment machine and 14 service bays, including Kenworth PremierCare ExpressLube Service.
