Dr Jürgen Föhrenbach, chairman of Bernard Krone Holding GmbH & Co KG, will be supported by his new deputies, Alfons Veer and Siegfried Wickert, in managing the Krone group. As of March 2004, Veer will be responsible for accounting and financial management. Wickert is responsible for production, materials management, and control and human resources for plants at Spelle and Werlte (Germany) and Hvam (Denmark). Veer most recently was chairman of the board of Raiffeisen Hauptgenossen-schaft Nord at Hanover (Germany). Wickert was with Fahrzeugwerk Krone at Werlte as a general manager responsible for technical matters, manufacturing, and logistics.

Stellar Industries Inc has appointed Kenneth Lee chief operating officer/chief financial officer. He was senior vice-president of investments and corporate finance previously. Kevin Hendrikson has been named to the newly created position of master scheduler. He comes to Stellar with more than 20 years' experience in manufacturing, production control, and scheduling of hydraulic equipment.

Wabash National Corp has appointed Timothy J Monahan senior vice-president — human resources. He joins Wabash after serving as vice-president — human resources for Textron Fastening Systems in Troy MI.

Heil Environmental Industries Ltd has promoted Dan Rosen to director of product management. He had served as Heil's Allied Waste account director since 2000.

Fontaine Trailer has named Keith Monroe vice-president — fleet sales for the company's platform operation in Haleyville AL. He is a 30-year veteran of the trailer industry and spent 18 of those years at Fontaine.

Autocar Trucks' reorganized management team consists of Paul Blanchard, vice-president of manufacturing; Bill Dolesh, vice-president of engineering; Tom Vatter, vice-president of sales; Mike Popovich, vice-president of marketing and business development; and Victor Birchmeier, vice-president of finance. Blanchard comes from Autocar sister company GVW Parts, where he was director of materials. Dolesh worked as chief engineer for Autocar since February 2002. Vatter had been with Pierce Manufacturing, where he was vice-president of sales for the company's fire and rescue equipment group. Popovich has worked for Autocar since November 2001 as vice-president of sales and marketing. Birchmeier comes to Autocar from the Fluid Power Division of SPX Corp in Rockford IL.

Paul L Vikner, who has served since July 2001 as president and chief executive officer of Mack Trucks Inc, will become a member of Volvo's Group Executive Committee effective Jan 1, 2004, reporting to Leif Johansson, president and CEO of the Volvo Group. Vikner will continue to serve as president and CEO of Mack.
