Wabash National Corp has appointed Richard J Giromini chief operating officer of the company, and Bryan K Langford has been named vice-president and general manager — North American Trailer Centers Inc. Most recently, Giromini was senior vice-president — technology and continuous improvement for Accuride Corp. Langford previously was Wabash National's vice-president — aftermarket parts and accessories.
Freightliner LLC has named Sung Lee general manager of manufacturing. He comes to Freightliner from DaimlerChrysler's Mercedes-Benz passenger car plant in East London, South Africa, where he had served as head of manufacturing since 1999.
Crysteel Manufacturing Inc has added Tom Carle as Great Lakes territory manager. He will represent Crysteel in Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Carle most recently served with V&H Trucks in Marshfield WI and Monroe Truck Equipment in Green Bay WI.
Volvo Trucks North America Inc has appointed Scott Kress to succeed Bill Dawson as senior vice-president — sales. Dawson has become senior vice-president — customer satisfaction after Harold Wiegel retired July 1, 2002. Kress most recently served with Mack Trucks as vice president — business development and fleet sales.
