Mack Trucks Inc recently named Stéphane Gauthier national fleet manager for its eastern Canada territory, and he will be based in Montreal. Gauthier previously served as sales and operations manager for the Canadian Pacific Railway and Expressway in Quebec and was service delivery manager for domestic intermodal operations.

Talbert Manufacturing has added Jeff Conner as its area sales manager for the Southeast, a territory that comprises Florida, Georgia, Alabama, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. Most recently, he was a member of the sales and consulting team of TransMaster Trailers, a division of Master Solutions Inc.

Kentucky Trailer has promoted Tom Harper to vice-president of sales, marketing, and business development and also named Brooks Boughton vice-president of operations at Kentucky Trailer Technologies, the company's specialty trailer and vehicle division in Walled Lake MI. Harper has served Kentucky Trailer Technologies previously as systems manager, general manager, and director of sales and marketing. Boughton's responsibilities at Kentucky Trailer Technologies began 12 years before as director of engineering.

David Tate, East Manufacturing Corporation president and chief operating officer, is retiring November 1, 2011, after 32 years of service to the company and the industry. He will be succeeded by David de Poincy, who joined the company August 1, 2011 and is transitioning into the presidency and COO position. Tate began his career with East in 1979 as director of marketing. de Poincy served as president of three companies over the past 17 years, including nine years with trailer manufacturer Transcraft Corp.
