William Garrison, the longtime vice president-marketing for trailer manufacturer Clement Industries, has retired from that position effective the end

William “Bill” Garrison, the longtime vice president-marketing for trailer manufacturer Clement Industries, has retired from that position effective the end of August 2008. Garrison is a native of Ohio and spent the bulk of his career marketing heavy construction equipment and trailers. With Clement founder W. Glen Hicks, he has been responsible for the establishment of Clement's nationwide network of distributors. Garrison and his wife Patsy plan to maintain their home in Minden LA.

Heil Environmental has hired Bill Healy as general manager of Parts Central, the refuse collection vehicle manufacturer's parts business. He has more than 20 years of experience in the aftermarket parts business and before joining Heil, Healy spent 10 years with automotive parts retailer AutoZone. He most recently served as its regional manager for 91 stores in the St. Louis MO area.

Mack Trucks Inc. has named Thomas M. Kelly III to the newly created position of senior vice president, product portfolio management. He was previously vice president of marketing. Kevin Flaherty was named senior vice president, Mack-United States and Canada. He was formerly senior vice president of sales. Michael McNally has been named to the new position of vice president-sales. McNally has served as northeast regional vice president since 1998. Michael Reardon was named vice president-marketing. He most recently served as vice president-new dealer operations. Brian Buckley was named northeast regional vice president, succeeding McNally. Buckley has served as district manager in the region since 2000.

Charlie Benton recently returned to East Manufacturing as southeast regional manager, having also held this position from 1990 to 2006. Benton will be responsible for dealer and customer sales and training support in Georgia, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and South Carolina. From June 2006 to June 2008, he served as vice president of sales for Gainesville Truck Center in Gainesville GA.

Omaha Standard has hired Mark Whaley as vice president, sales and marketing. He will manage the sales and marketing staff at the Omaha Standard headquarters in Council Bluffs IA. Whaley has been in the truck equipment industry for more than 30 years having been employed by Iowa Mold Tooling Company (Garner IA) for this entire period. While at IMT, he most recently served as vice president, sales and marketing.

MAC Trailer Manufacturing has promoted Dan Tubbs to vice president-manufacturing, responsible for the production of all product lines at both the Alliance and Salem OH facilities. Since 2006, he has been vice president-operations for the new 200,000-square-foot flatbed manufacturing facility in Salem. MAC also announces the promotion of Shawn Fredritz to product manager-transfer trailers. He has served as transfer trailer sales representative since 2006.
