Carlisle Companies Inc. has named Carol P. Lowe president of Trail King Industries Inc., effective November 1, 2008. Trail King is Carlisle's specialty heavy-haul trailer manufacturer. Lowe, who joined Carlisle in 2002 as treasurer, will continue to serve as vice president and chief financial officer of Carlisle until November 1. Steven J. Ford has been appointed to succeed Lowe as vice president and CFO and will also provide oversight for the company's legal matters. He joined Carlisle in 1995 as vice president, general counsel, and secretary.

MAC Trailer Manufacturing announces that Tom LaGiglio has joined the company as regional sales manager responsible for the ongoing sales growth and dealer development and support of the Wisconsin, Illinois, and Indiana territory. LaGiglio, who is domiciled in Chicago IL, has more than 20 years of transportation industry experience, of which 16 have been in the waste industry.

Workhorse Custom Chassis has restructured its sales and marketing operations while appointing Jim Gavaghan to the newly created position of vice president of sales for both commercial and RV chassis. Tony Monda, vice president of RV sales and marketing, will be responsible for marketing and product planning for both RV and commercial products. With almost 20 years of sales experience in the truck industry, Gavaghan most recently was vice president of sales at Chicago International Trucks and Affiliates.

Reitnouer Inc. has appointed Terry Graves to the position of national sales manager. A veteran of more than 15 years in the transportation industry, he brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to his new position.

Mitsubishi Fuso Truck of America Inc. (FUSO) announced that Brad Munchrath and Larry Smith have joined the team as district managers. Munchrath is responsible for managing dealers in Texas and Oklahoma. He joins FUSO from the commercial body industry and also has medium-duty truck sales experience at the dealer level. With more than 30 years in the commercial truck business, including experience with Detroit Diesel Corporation, Smith is responsible for calling on dealers in Minnesota, Wisconsin, North and South Dakota, Iowa, and Nebraska.

Jerry Tucker has been promoted to vice president of manufacturing of Hercules Manufacturing Company, based in Henderson KY. He has been with Hercules for 22-plus years and was previously plant manager of Colonial Mfg., a subsidiary of Hercules. James “Chip” Honse has been promoted to sales manager at Hercules. Previously national sales manager, he brings 25-plus years experience in truck body/trailer design and sales to his position.

Stellar Industries Inc. has promoted Al Kuhlman to customer service representative, and he will handle parts sales and technical assistance for customers. Previously, he spent two years as a truck assembler for Stellar, where he was key in the final assembly of mechanic and tire service trucks.
