Thomas Built Buses has reorganized its field sales and service teams, creating a new fifth region. Staffing the regional groups are: Central — Randy Walker, sales, and John Byerly, service; Midwest — Terry Darr, sales, and Jeff Allgire, service; Northeast — Tommy Smith, sales, and Steve Groat, service; Southeast — Mike Adams, sales, and Ronnie Cobb, service; and Western — Robert Kanter, sales, and Rich Thornburg, service. Vance Nofziger will lead the dealer sales team, and Mitch Miller will lead the dealer service team. Cory Compton, government fleet sales manager, will focus on sales to the federal government. Dee Dee Campbell will continue in her role as manager of sales operations, and Joe Craver will continue as direct sales manager. Paul Start will lead a newly created market growth development team, and Sid Adams and Chris Blaha will join this market growth team.

Zack Coley has rejoined Heil Trailer International Co as its vice-president-sales and marketing, North America. With more than 30 years of experience in the transportation industry, he will report directly to Randall Swift, the president and chief executive officer of Heil Trailer.

Spartan Motors Inc announced that Andrew M Rooke has been named to the company's board of directors. He currently serves as president and chief operating officer of Manitex International Inc, a North American manufacturer of engineered lifting equipment.

Fontaine Trailer Company has named Blake Chambers regional sales representative for parts of Indiana, Kentucky, Tennessee, Mississippi, Alabama, and Louisiana. With more than 18 years of experience, he previously was responsible for sales at both a regional and national level at a leading trailer manufacturer. Fontaine has named John Hammond as Canadian regional sales representative based in Orangeville, Ontario. Previously, he was responsible for sales at a leading Canadian trailer manufacturer.

Fontaine Heavy-Haul has hired Jim Eller as sales manager. Previously, he handled sales of heavy-haul trailers and equipment both regionally and nationally, performed start-up activities to successfully launch a trailer division within a OEM dealership, and managed trailer parts and service departments at the OEM dealer level.

Polar Corporation has named Randy Arlt vice-president of sales and marketing for Polar Tank Trailer, the company's tank trailer manufacturing business. Arlt previously was vice-president of business development for Polar Corp and served as president of Polar Tank Trailer from April 2003 to March 2011. Polar Corp named Chris Dietemann president of Quality Trailer Products. He succeeds Jim Painter, who has been appointed president of Polar Tank Trailer. Dietemann has been general manager of the company's Rockwell American leaf spring manufacturing business in Seagoville TX since December 2010. He will be based at Quality Trailer Products headquarters in Azle TX. Painter will be based at Polar Tank Trailer's headquarters in Opole MN and report to Ted Fick, Polar Corp president and chief executive officer.
