Supreme Corporation has been chosen to construct a fleet of trucks for Budget Truck Rental, with the contract calling for Supreme to produce over 4,700 units to be delivered between January and May.

Sizes include 10-, 16-, and 24-foot truck bodies, set atop a variety of chassis, including Ford, GM and International.

Each size of the Budget Truck Rental’s vehicles will make use of Supreme’s signature FRP (fiberglass reinforced plywood) construction, for superior strength and durability. The truck body company has become one of the largest domestic FRP builders, and has facilities dedicated to manufacturing this innovative material so that Supreme can better control costs and availability.

“At Budget, we stress cost-efficiencies and quality,” says Jerry Riordan, President of Budget Truck Rental. “Supreme came to us with the same commitments, and they’ve demonstrated their manufacturing process achieves these goals. We are growing our fleet over the next several years, and we anticipate the Supreme vehicles will play a large role in this expansion into the marketplace.”
