San Antonio, TX-based truck dealership chain Rush Enterprises is buying some of the assets of Barrett Trucks, LLC, a GMC and Isuzu medium-duty truck dealership in Texarkana, TX, for $725,000, paid in cash.

As Texarkana is in Rush’s existing Peterbilt area of responsibility, it’s adding a full-line of Peterbilt heavy and medium-duty trucks to the new dealership and is operating the facility as a full-service Rush Truck Center offering parts and service.

“We are committed to increasing our medium-duty presence in our existing areas of responsibility,” said W. Marvin Rush, the chain’s chairman & CEO. “This acquisition enables us to offer a full breadth of heavy-duty and medium-duty trucks, parts and service in a market that we believe has great growth potential.”
