Roadway Express has opened a service terminal in Puebla, Mexico. Nora Arroyo has been tapped to be the terminal manager at Puebla, which is 75 miles south from Mexico City and mainly ships automotive parts, textiles and electronics.

Roadway said the growth in the surrounding areas motivated the opening of this new base of operations, which will enhance service to local and regional businesses in Puebla, including the cities of Tlaxcala , Veracruz, Tehuacan, Teziutlan, Cholula and San Martin Texmelucan.

With the Puebla terminal open for business, Roadway’s wholly owned subsidiary, Roadway Express, S.A. de C.V., now operates 11 terminals in Mexico, serving key industrial, manufacturing and gateway cities. Roadway is a less-than-truckload conglomerate based in Akron, OH.
