United States exports of automotive parts and accessories in 2002 exceeded $48 billion, while imports to the United States reached nearly $67 billion, according to Foreign Trade Report: An Examination of US Foreign Trade Statistics, released by the Automotive Aftermarket Industry Association (AAIA).

A guide to help companies identify where trade opportunities exist, this report includes detailed trade data for 300 different imported products and 150 exported products for all nations combined.

The report also helps identify key sources and destinations of auto parts and accessories by detailing the value of trade (current and historical) for each of the top 50 US trading partners for the 11 products groups tracked.

Also available from AAIA's market research department are customized trade data tables. These tables of current and historical trade statistics are provided for specific products, product groups, and/or nations.
