Mack Trucks named Stan Mikalonis its new vice-president of national accounts, and he will be based at Mack world headquarters in Greensboro NC. Prior to joining the company, Mikalonis served in various leadership roles at heavy-duty OEM and dealer operations. He succeeds Mike Reardon, who will serve as Mack’s vice-president for the Western Region, replacing John Thomas, who is retiring.

DUECO Inc, provider of Terex Utilities and Terex Hi-Ranger bucket trucks, digger derricks, cranes, stringing and tension equipment, and utility trailers, has promoted Ken Vlasman to the newly created role of director of service. He will be based in Watertown SD. Starting his career with DUECO in 1989, he most recently was Western Region service manager.

Curry Supply Company announced the recent additions of employees Dan Finelli, Michael Richardson, and Chris Metzger. Finelli joins the company as CAD designer with prior CAD/CAM experience, as well as having been a machinist for 14 years. Richardson is Curry’s new sales engineer and has six years of industry experience. Metzger rejoins Curry as product specialist, a newly created role. He had previously served with the company from 2008-2011 as tank fabrication manager, safety manager, and equipment sales rep.

Timbren Industries announced the appointment of Jim Betournay to the position of vice-president of sales, where he will take overall responsibility for directing the company’s sales efforts. He brings extensive experience in the North American automotive parts business.

Webb Wheel Severe Duty has appointed Nate Nielsen director of sales and Jeremy Zills manager of engineering. Nielsen transferred to Webb Severe Duty from the company’s Aftermarket Business Unit, where he most recently served as OES strategic account manager. Zills also transferred to Webb Severe Duty after service as senior project engineer with the firm’s R&D facility in Cullman AL.

Sika Region NA Automotive announces that Zack Gaultney has been promoted to launch and planning manager, reporting to Cedric Gray, vice-president of operations. Gaultney, who joined Sika in October 2003, most recently was planning manager, responsible for production planning for the Grandview MO facility and finished-goods inventory management. Sika Region NA Automotive has promoted Chris Leyda to project manager, reporting to Brent Logan, director, engineering. Leyda joined Sika Corporation in January 2006 as a manufacturing engineer. Terry Saeugling has been promoted to group lead, process engineering, also reporting to Logan. Saeugling joined Sika Corp in November 2008 as a process engineer.

Phillips Industries has hired Dave Lajeunesse as director of engineering, responsible for all the company’s engineering protocol, research and development, and customer relationships. Before joining Phillips, he was director, advanced manufacturing engineering and engineering services for Bendix Commercial Vehicle Systems LLC.

Roland Sundén has been appointed president of the Hiab business. He will be a member of Cargotec’s Executive Board and reports to Mika Vehviläinen, president and chief executive officer. Over three decades, Sundén has successfully led several business transformation efforts while working as president of Case New Holland’s agricultural division, CEO of private equity-owned LM Wind Power, and in various executive roles at Volvo.

Gene Ayres has been named executive vice-president of sales and marketing for Palfinger Liftgates. Previously he spent 36 years at Morgan Corporation and has held the position of vice-president of sales and marketing for the past eight years, while also responsible for technical sales and new product development.

AxleTech International has appointed Tyler Bean senior director of sales, responsible for strategic planning, sales execution, and customer satisfaction for the global sales team. Bean was previously president and general manager of Marmon-Herrington Co in Louisville KY, where he was responsible for sales growth of the company.
