Heil Environmental has hired Randy Brown as vice president-sales and marketing. He joins Heil with more than 18 years of experience at Kennametal Inc. Most recently, he served as managing director-Northern Europe, Middle East, and Africa, based out of the United Kingdom.

Rich Ferguson has been appointed vice president, sales for Freightliner Trucks. He most recently served as president, Daimler Trucks Remarketing Corporation (formerly FMDC) and SelecTrucks of America LLC. Ferguson succeeds Alex Bernasconi, who has served Freightliner Trucks since 1997 and as vice president, sales since March 2003. Bernasconi will continue to support the firm through mid-year 2009 on several special projects.

Clement Industries has named Ronald E. Dietz vice president of marketing. Dietz joined Clement in 2007 to lead marketing efforts for its new line of aluminum end dump trailers. He succeeds William “Bill” Garrison, who retired September 1 after 25 years in the marketing post.

Von Rogers has been named northern regional sales manager for Hercules Manufacturing Company in Henderson KY. He has more than 11 years' sales experience with four years in outside sales and seven in retail sales. Joy Blanford has been promoted to inside sales associate at Hercules. She previously served in the firm's front office and has more than 18 years of customer service experience.

Bee Line Company has hired Doug Edwardsen as sales manager in charge of sales, marketing, training, and customer service departments. With more than 25 years of experience in sales and marketing management, he most recently was a regional sales manager for Marangoni Tread, a manufacturer and distributor of truck tire retreading equipment and materials.

Americas Commercial Transportation Research Company LLC (ACT) announces that John P. Burton has joined the company as vice president-Transportation Sector. His experience includes 25 years in strategic marketing and sales, with special skills in analysis, planning, and business development. He recently was the vice president, marketing and external affairs at SCS Transportation, a position he held for six years before forming his own company, JPB Consulting.

VIPAR Heavy Duty has announced that Lori Newton, a veteran sales and manufacturing executive, has joined Global Parts Network LLC (GPN) as the director of operations for the organization's new brake remanufacturing facilities. Most recently, she was the western region sales representative for Carlisle Motion Control.
