William Robert "Rob" Parkhurst II, chief executive officer of Parkhurst Manufacturing, died February 21. He was 46.
Parkhurst had worked for the family business since he was 9. Parkhurst Manufacturing Company, Sedalia MO, manufactures a wide range of truck bodies, trailers, and hoists. Prior to serving as CEO, he worked as vice-president and president.
He was a 1989 graduate of Central Missouri State University (UCM).
He is survived by his wife, Paula; five children, three sisters, and as many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and his grandparents, William R. and Lucille Parkhurst.
