Hyundai Translead has appointed Song Rae “Harry” Cho general manager of Hyundai De Mexico (HYMEX). Cho comes to HYMEX after serving in the Engineering Department of Hyundai's container plant in Korea as manager of production. He also was senior manager in the Quality Control Department of Hyundai's reefer container plant, also in Korea.
Hyundai Translead has promoted Howard Yurgevich to vice-president of engineering and Garry Shidler to vice-president of production. Yurgevich previously served as director of engineering, and Shidler served most recently as director of production.
Desmond McCullagh has been named Wayne Engineering Corp's regional sales manager for the western United States. Previously, he served as Leach Co's regional sales manager for three years and Vac-Con Corp for 12 years.
Stellar Industries Inc has hired Chuck Conroy as manufacturing supervisor — fabrication. Conroy has 30 years of experience, including body and crane manufacturing supervisor and inventory management responsibilities. Stellar has promoted Greg Leerar to plant manager for both day and night shifts. He has been employed at Stellar since 1992. Stellar has appointed Scott Schmitt marketing communications assistant. He has experience in graphic design and product promotion in the Mason City IA area.
Mack Trucks Inc has promoted Kevin M Flaherty to senior vice-president — sales. He succeeds Paul L Vikner, who left the company to pursue other interests. Flaherty has served as vice-president — domestic sales since 1998.

Mike Tarasow has been appointed general sales manager for Chelsea Products at the Drivetrain Service Division of Dana Corp. He most recently was West Coast regional sales manager.
Leyman Lift Gates has named Jeffrey E Morgan national accounts sales manager. He had been commercial transportation sales manager for the CorTec division of Crane Co.
Stemco Inc has appointed Todd Anderson vice-president — engineering. He was named director — engineering in January 2000.
David Heatherington has been promoted to manager of field sales for Waltco Truck Equipment Co. He most recently served as western sales manager. Bill Rector has been promoted to manager of distributor and OEM development after previously serving as eastern sales manager. Randy Reid has been promoted to western regional manager. Most recently, he was Northwest district manager. Clay Johnson has joined Waltco as district sales manager. Previously, he was district sales manager with Supreme Corp in Moreno Valley CA. Joe Moran has been promoted to inside sales supervisor for Waltco. Most recently, he was an account representative responsible for the western United States and southwestern Canada. Steven King, who served previously as inside sales supervisor, has been promoted to outside sales representative. Sally Siciliano, previously a parts sales representative, has been promoted to inside sales representative. Waltco has promoted Craig Miller to aftermarket parts coordinator. Most recently, he was production scheduler/planner.
Tommy Gate Co has named John Beck its 2000 Salesman of the Year. Beck, the firm's Northeast regional sales manager, has been with Tommy Gate for more than five years. This is his second Salesman of the Year honor.
Fabricators
William Edmundson has been selected as W A Whitney Co's new ironworker sales and applications engineer. He is a 38-year veteran of the firm and the metal fabricating industry.

Team Temco has appointed Gene Moehling sales manager — truck equipment. Moehling has been employed by Team Temco for the past 12 years as a sales representative.
