MHC Kenworth has opened a new facility in Topeka, KS—the fourth dealership in the company to incorporate green technology in its design.

The full-service Topeka location is now located just off Interstate 70.

“It’s exciting to be able to offer MHC customers a new location to meet all their needs,” said Topeka branch manager Jacob Weeks. “In the past, customers have had to go to various locations – now they can get what they need all in one place.”

In addition to the new, energy-efficient geothermal temperature control features, the 35,000-sq.-ft. facility maintains translucent hollow-core overhead doors in the service department to allow natural light into the building and provide superior insulation.

MHC dealerships in Odessa, Texas, Oklahoma City, OK, and Jonesboro, AR, also embrace similar initiatives.

“We are thrilled with the outcome of the new facilities and are proud that MHC is using sustainable technology to decrease our carbon footprint,” Murphy-Hoffman Company CEO Tim Murphy said.

Located across 11 states, MHC is a network of over 90 locations, including 55 heavy and medium-duty truck dealers, 36 MHC Truck Leasing locations, four Carrier Transicold locations and a wholly-owned finance company, MHC Financial Services. MHC features Kenworth, Hino, Ford, Volvo and Isuzu trucks.
