MEMA provides an automotive supplier perspective on steel industry

The Motor & Equipment Manufacturers Association (MEMA) report, "The Steel Industry: An Automotive Supplier Perspective" provides insight into the structure and financial situation of the steel industry. The report also highlights benefits the steel industry realizes as a result of more than 180 duty orders on imported steel, and the absorption of the industry's pension obligations by the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation and other programs.

MEMA and its original equipment market segment association OESA have scheduled a briefing on the report for 8-10 a.m. on Tuesday, March 8, at The Fairlane Club in Dearborn, Mich.
