Governor Mark Parkinson has named Landoll Corporation of Marysville the winner of the Governor’s Award of Excellence, at the annual Kansas Cavalry Encampment at Fort Hays State University.

Governor Mark Parkinson has named Landoll Corporation of Marysville the winner of the Governor’s Award of Excellence, at the annual Kansas Cavalry Encampment at Fort Hays State University.

The award is the state’s top business honor and serves as the highlight of the Kansas Cavalry Encampment, the state’s annual celebration of Kansas business.

“We’re honored to present Landoll Corporation with the state’s top business awards,” Governor Parkinson said. “This company embodies Kansas ingenuity and values, and they illustrate what a great place Kansas is to live, work and do business.”

Landoll Corporation is a producer and distributor of manufactured products, serving clients in the industries of transportation, agricultural equipment, material handling, OEM and government. Founded in 1963 by Don Landoll as a welding repair shop, the company has grown to more than 550 employees and currently occupies more than 600,000 square feet of manufacturing space.
