The American Society for Quality (ASQ) recently recognized Kinedyne Corporation's global quality director, Peter Miko, with its Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence (CMQ/OE) designation. This recognition confirms that Miko, who is based at the company's New Jersey facility, has achieved an elevated level of proficiency in the discipline of quality management principles and practices.

Kinedyne's Lawrence KS facility — which achieved the ISO 9001:2000 certification of its Quality Management System (QMS) in 2008 and ISO 9001:2008 in 2010 — is Kinedyne's first US facility to receive this internationally recognized quality management certification.

This ASQ designation can be earned only by those individuals with at least 10 years of on-the-job experience in a quality-related role and a minimum of five years' experience in a decision-making position. Anyone with a quality background who achieves this level of certification is deemed to have the skill set to facilitate and lead teams, monitor customer-supplier relations, and develop measurement systems designed to assess various functions within the organization.
