Grand Vehicle Works Holdings Corp, parent company of Autocar LLC, has purchased the former Dana manufacturing plant in Hagerstown IN for Autocar's new headquarters and truck manufacturing facility. Located between Indianapolis IN and Dayton OH, the facility will accommodate Autocar's assembly equipment and its newly purchased operating systems.
Limited pilot production will start in second-quarter 2003 with full production scheduled to begin no later than July 2003.
