The first trailers have rolled off the assembly line at Haulmark Industries’ new facility in Duncan, Oklahoma.

The Duncan Area Economic Development Foundation helped Haulmark acquire the facility earlier this year. Haulmark began production in mid-May after retooling the 150,00-square-foot plant.

“We’re now rapidly ramping up production,” said Larry Ward, vice president of operations for Haulmark. “Employment will increase to correspond with growth in production.”

The plant will be capable of producing Haulmark’s full line of trailers but will focus on trailers in demand in its territory of Oklahoma, Texas, Louisiana, eastern New Mexico, eastern Colorado and parts of Arkansas.
