Harsh International Inc of Eaton CO has acquired Pummel Truck Supply of Salem OR. The acquisition combines the equipment manufactured by Harsh and the distribution network and custom dump body capability of Pummel.
“We've spent literally millions in our manufacturing equipment and facilities over the past few years and are now ready to ‘take it to the streets.’ The Pummel acquisition is the first of what we hope will be several strategic locations for the cost effective distribution of the Harsh hoist,” said Bob Brown, president of Harsh.
Gary Calkin will continue to manage Pummel as he has for the past 35 years. Jim Silldorff will become the new sales manager.
