Great Dane continues expansion in 2006

Besides the recent addition of Superstition Trailers (two Tucson AZ and two Phoenix AZ locations), the Great Dane Trailers dealer network has expanded four other dealer locations in the United States, Mexico, and Canada in 2006.

Trudell Trailers of Fargo ND expanded its sales and rental operation to a full-service dealership in May 2006 with the purchase of Fargo Trailer Center. Trudell acquired Fargo Trailer Center's 22,000-square-foot facility in West Fargo, which operates an 11-bay shop and provides parts, repair and custom fabrication on semi-trailers. Zapata added its Leon Guanajuato facility as a full-service dealership in Feb. 2006 after the purchase of an existing competitor dealership. Featuring eight service bays, a 24-hour mobile rescue truck, Zapata chose to purchase the location in a heavily industrial area of Central Mexico. Glasvan Great Dane Sales Inc added three new Canadian locations in 2006, including Alliston (parts & service), Guelph (service), and Putnam (service).
