The Association of Equipment Manufacturers (AEM) and the National Fluid Power Association (NFPA) are joining forces to produce an industry-focused electrohydraulics seminar Dec 2-3, 2002, at the Hotel Sofitel in Rosemont IL. AEM's Electronics Task Force is heading development of the seminar with NFPA's Marketing Board.

Presentations will cover implementing technology to enhance end-user productivity including CAN serial bus technology, machine controls, wireless applications, and electromagnetic compatibility. Sessions will also focus on technologies currently being developed as well as challenges and opportunities those technologies represent for equipment manufacturers. Taking a look at tips for more effective management of engineering projects will be another topic of discussion at the seminar.

The seminar will also offer a mini-trade show exhibiting recent developments in electronic and hydraulic components.
