E-One To Donate Rescue Vehicle to FDNY

As a result of the tragic losses on September 11, Emergency One, Inc. (E-One) announced that it is donating a rescue vehicle that will be utilized as a decontamination unit to FDNY. The 19-foot E-One extruded aluminum rescue body will be mounted on a Freightliner FL80 2-door cab/chassis that is being donated by Freightliner Trucks. “Our collective gift will never match the sacrifices offered by emergency service personnel on September 11," stated Jay Johnson, Vice-President of Marketing for Emergency One. "We are honored to be able to at least assist FDNY with rebuilding their equipment fleet and only wish we could fill the true void created by those who paid the ultimate price on that day." Emergency One, Inc. is a subsidiary of Federal Signal Corporation, a publicly held company traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE: FSS). Headquartered in Ocala, Florida, USA, Emergency One, Inc. is a leading ISO 9001 certified manufacturer of fire fighting and rescue vehicles with over 23,000 units in service worldwide.
