Dodge has officially approved Supreme Corp truck bodies for use on the Dodge Sprinter light-duty truck chassis.

By giving its corporate nod to Supreme's five new Sprinter body styles, Dodge handed its national Business Link dealer network a new tool to expand light-duty truck sales to a range of urban and suburban businesses nationwide.

“The reasons why Dodge gave its full approval to these five bodies are that they meet the proper mounting configuration, weight compliance, and center-of-gravity specifications that have been set forth by Dodge engineers,” said Craig Fisher, Dodge's director of commercial vehicle marketing and product planning. “Because the IceOTherm insulated body is included, the Dodge Sprinter can now offer a compact and highly maneuverable refrigerated vehicle to urban businesses.”

The five new Supreme Sprinter bodies are:

  • Aluminum sheet-and-post cargo body
  • Fiberglass-reinforced plywood (FRP) Spartan cargo body
  • Spartan Service body
  • Stake/Platform truck body
  • IceOTherm refrigerated body, which is coming soon
