TODCO has promoted Scott Blackford to vice-president of sales and marketing for the Vehicular Group in Marion OH. A 21-year TODCO employee, Blackford most recently served as director of marketing.

ArvinMeritor Inc has appointed Richard Decaire as Canadian regional manager for the company's Commercial Vehicle Systems business. Decaire joins ArvinMeritor from Heavy Duty Manufacturing, where he served as Canadian sales manager.

DEL Liftgates Inc has named Michael M Militello president, succeeding outgoing president David Martin, who will continue with the company as executive vice-president. Militello has served as general manager for a number of manufacturing businesses in western New York, most recently for UniPunch Products Inc.

Transportation Technologies Industries Inc (TTI) has named these district sales managers for United States regions: Bill Gray for parts of the Southeast; Ken Sabbag for parts of the Northeast; Howard Groh for parts of the central United States; Mike Emrick for parts of the South; Larry Richard for parts of the Upper Midwest, Northwest, and central Canada; Curt Herman and Mike McMikle for parts of the Midwest; Steve Judge for parts of the US Great Lakes region; Daryl O'Brien for parts of Canada; and Jack Sullivan for parts of New England.

John C Lowe and Rick Ziebart have been named sales engineers-machinery for Strippit Inc. Based in Cary IL, Lowe is responsible for sales of Strippit products in Illinois. Ziebart is responsible for sales in Iowa and part of Illinois. He is based in Monroe Center IL.

Cummins Inc has announced that staffers Martha Brooks, vice-president and general manager-truck and bus engine business; and Christine Vujovich, vice-president-environmental policy and product strategy, were selected by Automotive News as leading women in the North American auto industry.

Don LaBeff has joined Sloan Transportation Products as vice-president of sales and marketing-heavy-duty. He previously held sales management positions at TSE Brakes and Holland/Neway. Sloan has promoted Brad Roth to director of sales and marketing director/director of sales-OE truck, East. Roth previously was plant manager for Superior Push Rod Inc. Herb Brown has joined Sloan as director of sales-aftermarket, Western Territory. Brown was aftermarket sales manager at Tramec for several years. Darrel Rizley has been appointed Sloan's director of sales-aftermarket, Eastern Territory.

International Marketing Inc (IMI) has promoted Robert D Fogal Jr to chief executive officer. Fogal's father, Robert D Fogal Sr, founded IMI in 1973. Since 1995, the younger Fogal has been IMI president.

E T Jones, founder and president of Dixie Meter Co of Grovetown GA, died Sept 15, 2000. Dixie Meter, founded in 1966, has been a National Truck Equipment Association member since 1990. Wife Lydia Jones, son Edward, daughters Patricia and Barbara, son-in-law Jack, and granddaughter Lyla all work at Dixie Meter.
