Dejana Truck & Utility Equipment has acquired a new facility 11 miles northeast of Philadelphia PA and formed its sixth business unit, Dejana Truck Equipment of Greater Philadelphia. The new facility is the company's fifth commercial truck manufacturing location and has been established to provide greater sales and service capability to the Pennsylvania/New Jersey area.
The 27,000-square-foot facility is on five acres on a main thoroughfare at 2502 Route 130 in Cinnaminson NJ, and is accessible from many major highways. It was previously established as a commercial truck upfit facility, and will therefore need little modification to be operational. The building features 20,000 square feet of production space with a showroom, parts and service provisions, and two paint spray booths.
In 2007, Dejana celebrates it 50th year in business as a major commercial truck supplier to the Northeast. Headquartered in Kings Park NY, its Truck & Utility Division has manufacturing locations in Kings Park NY, Huntington NY, Smithfield RI, and Baltimore MD. Dejana's Cargo and Van Body Division in Rosedale MD manufactures a full line of dry freight and van body equipment for nearly any chassis requirement.
